Creative Options Covid-19 Update

Creative Options Update to COVID-19

Updated: May 22, 2020

Dear Parents,

We know that these last couple months have been very trying and we admire your strength and perseverance as we all continue to navigate through this pandemic. We will continue to be here for you and your family.

Whether or not you are able to attend our summer program we will continue to provide resources and supports for you.

Our 4 week summer learning experience will focus on social emotional needs as result of the impact of these times we are in.  In addition, we will be introducing a new gardening unit to our curriculum focused on continued school readiness.  We will be opening 7 classrooms at two of our centers and will operate June 1 -25th, 4 days a week; AM sessions only.

We will also continue supporting all of our families remotely and will be sending a take home version of the summer curriculum as well.  Additionally. We are scheduling times for families to come to their centers to pick up your child’s items, including certificates, medications, curriculum unit and young athlete’s materials to close out this school year.  We will be reaching out to families next week to schedule these times.

The health and safety of your child, family, our community and our Creative Options teams has remained our top priority through these unprecedented times and will continue to be so.

We are implementing some new practices and procedures as required by childcare licensing and the State of Colorado.  These new procedures will continue into the start of our new school year in August.  We wanted to let you know that in the packet you will see some new and existing procedures

for the following:

  • At home Temperature checks
  • Drop off and pick up procedures
  • Wearing facial coverings
  • Handwashing,
  • Health services, including illness
  • Nutrition services for meal service

As part of our re-opening plan we are working with Higgins and Associates to conduct ATP Surface sampling at our Creative Options Centers. This allows us to evaluate our contracted janitorial and teams by periodically verifying surfaces have been thoroughly cleaned to ensure we are maintaining a healthy and safe environment for your child.

We will continue to be here for you and please reach out to us with any questions and or needs.

Please remember to Stay Safe and Connected,

Your Creative Options Administrative Team
