At Parent to Parent of Colorado we also connect families in communities around the state through our Online Parent Support Group (Listserv), Individual Parent Matching, and our Website Resources.

Because I have been where you are, I offer: my listening ears, my experience, my time, my heart….
Using our database of over 2800 Colorado families and the P2P USA matching service, we can connect you with another family who has experienced raising a child with a particular disability or special health care need.
The match to a Support Parent can be based on age of your child, disability, geographical location, surgeries, medication, equipment used, or any number of other factors. Our Outreach Coordinator will contact you to help identify your needs and your desire for a parent match.
P2P Parents, prepared through our Support Parent training, are there to listen to your needs and to provide you with emotional and informational support, including resources in your area of the state.

Parent to Parent of Colorado hosts three online message boards on the groups.io platform:

You can sign up for the Online Parent Support Group by filling out a registration form on the Join P2P page.
We share information and support as we communicate with each other daily on diverse topics. With our Online Parent Support Group, you will find questions, advice, and conversations from parents of individuals of all ages who have a wide range of disabilities or special health needs.
P2P-CO Online Parent Support Groups are restricted to parents and family members only.

Are You Connected?
Just wanted to say that everyone on here is A-mazing!! It’s been great to hear of the different ideas and just overall support. I’m so glad that my advocate encouraged me to join. I have heard about so much, though it’s also left me with more questions sometimes, but otherwise it’s been very informative and I am taking all the information and checking into things and moving in the direction as is best for our family.I couldn’t be more appreciative of the amazing support that I have gotten here. I’m sure it’s not said enough, but I am saying it now!! Thank you everyone!!
